Organized by Shenzhen ZhiZheng Museum Group and hosted by ZhiZheng Culture, the immersive special exhibition "Magnificent Long Scroll: Ming Dynasty Qiu Ying's Authentic 'Along the River During the Qingming Festival'" opened on December 19 at the China Resources Tower Art Center Gallery (B1 level, MixC Shenzhen Bay). This exhibition has captured nationwide attention and high expectations. By blending classical art with modern technology, it not only offers a rare opportunity to appreciate this artistic treasure from over 500 years ago up close but also allows visitors to immerse themselves in the grandeur of China's Ming Dynasty. The exhibition will run until May 28, 2020—don’t miss it if you haven’t experienced it yet!

The "Along the River During the Qingming Festival" special exhibition features not only the authentic artwork but also a massive digital animation screen that comprehensively displays every detail of the painting—including over 1,300 characters and the transition from day to night. This display technology is passionately contributed by top domestic 3D technology company "JuXiang Tech."

The most impressive part of the exhibition is the 1:1 recreation of classic scenes from "Along the River During the Qingming Festival"—revisiting the charm of the Jiangnan region during the Ming Dynasty and allowing us to truly step into the painting! All sounds in these recreated scenes are projected and played by "Doctor of Directional Listening." Utilizing its unique directional sound beam technology, "Doctor of Directional Listening" spatially divides the environment within quiet settings. This allows all visitors to experience the bustling atmosphere of the era without causing interference or noise pollution between adjacent scenes. It’s as if you’ve traveled back to the vibrant streets of Suzhou during the Ming Dynasty. However, once you leave the recreated scene area and step outside the transmission range of "Doctor of Directional Listening," the ancient melodies of instruments, drums, and bustling voices gradually fade away...

In this exhibition, the organizers innovatively deployed "Doctor of Directional Listening" across extensive spatial expansions, combining sound, light, and electricity to deliver a breathtaking sensory experience. It’s safe to say that nearly every part of the exhibition has the potential to become a viral attraction.

"Doctor of Directional Listening" is now extensively utilized in the exhibition industry, allowing visitors to effortlessly experience self-narrated introductions from cultural artifacts instead of relying solely on static text descriptions. The collaboration between "Doctor of Directional Listening," ZhiZheng Museum, and Juxiang Technology for the immersive exhibition of the authentic "Along the River During the Qingming Festival" holds profound significance. This initiative represents a successful fusion of domestically innovated cutting-edge technology with the traditional exhibition sector—an artistic breakthrough that revitalizes China’s traditional art treasures by freeing them from display cases and infusing them with new life. By enabling close-range interaction between artifacts and visitors through an edutainment approach, it enhances the accessibility and dissemination of traditional culture, allowing China’s cultural heritage to shine with renewed brilliance on the global stage.
