King Sultan Attends 2019 Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) Graduation Ceremony – Qingwen Technology Invited to Participate

  Today marked the 2019 graduation ceremony of Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB), attended by His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, the Crown Prince, the Minister of Education, the Prime Minister, and the President of UTB.   In his address, King Sultan emphasized the necessity for UTB to strengthen collaboration with domestic industries and international academic institutions to equip students with practical workplace knowledge and skills. He also highlighted the importance of fostering a robust research culture and environment within the country to cultivate high-quality talent dedicated to national development. Qingwen Technology is deeply privileged to be invited to such a pivotal event, reflecting its broad recognition in Brunei. The company has successfully launched courses at the Brunei Technical Education and Training Institute, assisting students in acquiring essential workplace skills and adapting to societal needs.

Reflecting on the 2015-2019 graduation ceremonies, Qingwen Technology takes pride in the achievements of its students:

  • Dr. Yati from UTB, funded by Qingwen Technology for IC (Intelligent City) research, also honored as an "Outstanding Graduate."

Qingwen Technology shares a profound partnership with UTB, having established the first China-Brunei Joint Laboratory for Scientific and Technological Innovation. This collaboration focuses on ultrasonic directional sound technology projects integrating industry, academia, and research. Additionally, Qingwen Technology has donated 1 million BND in scholarships to UTB.

During the inauguration of the Joint Laboratory (witnessed by the Minister of Education, the President of UTB, and the Chinese Ambassador to Brunei), Qingwen Technology reaffirmed its commitment to advancing the research and development of "Doctor of Directional Listening" ultrasonic sound technology. By bridging theory and practice, the company aims to provide a platform for talented individuals to learn and innovate.
